Am I blind or am I missing something… because I haven’t really seen any Wings fans talking shit. I’m not just saying that to protect my own. I’m just really not seeing it. I’ve seen a few reacting to what other fans have said, but nothing to instigate or agitate anyone. Maybe I’ve just made good decisions about who I’m following… but who knows.

Anyways.

The majority of what I’m seeing is just that it was a great game, hard fought, between two skilled teams. It was so close the entire time; I don’t understand what the point is of people trying to pull out “oh ho ho we’re still better than x because x.” Dude, it was a shootout loss. We came out on top in the end. Okay. Life goes on. We all know shootouts are a tad wonky anyways. And plus, the Bruins still got a point, ya know? I think the two teams are pretty well matched. The Bruins are a great, Stanley Cup winning team. So are the Wings. After the Wings were out of the playoffs, I think 85% of Wings fans wanted the Bruins to win. They’re one of my most respected teams.

I don’t… get it… why is there so much friction?

I mean, either way, I’m proud of my team for getting the W. Go Wings.

But that doesn’t make it any less of great game between two great teams.

Great game, Bruins. Much respect. You’re still a big threat to win the Stanley Cup again. See you guys next season (maybe in June ;), haha )

Someone who has been doing a lot of good things lately has been Jiri Hudler, who after notching just 12 points in his first 36 games has 11 over his last 14.

“I was trying to do too much at the beginning of the season,” Hudler admits. “But you have guys in this room, like Draper and Bertuzzi, who were telling me to just play my game.”

Hudler, who had a goal and two assists against Boston, said that Friday’s effort was one of the best the team has put together this season.
