One of my best friends will be marrying a Red Wings fanatic in two weeks. He has grown up playing hockey and idolizing Nick Lidstrom and the Detroit Red Wings. One year, a few months before Christmas, his mother wrote a letter to all the Red Wings whose home addresses she could find. In this letter, she asked the Red Wings to sign the piece of cloth that she had included in the letter and to send it back to her so she could give them to her son for Christmas. AND THEY DID IT. Some even personalized it. Seriously, the Wings are so good to their fans. In one picture frame he has the cloths from Lidstrom, Chelios, Dandenault, Homer, and Devereaux. He also has another frame with Draper, Datsyuk, Fischer, and Dino in it.
